Clocked Out Magazine is Seeking Smart and Beautiful Submissions for Our Next Issue
We want your critical thinking: theory philosophy prose fiction poetry diary entries reviews whatever you’ve got, so long as it says something important.
Mostly please send us your essays. Or send us your ideas for essays. An essay for Clocked Out magazine should be an attempt, a trial; a weighing of ideas. It should have a clear thesis statement. It should include at least one citation. Its sentences should have rhythm and style. This style should be your own. The point of the whole thing should, also, be strictly your own.
To submit please email clockedoutmagazine[at]gmail.com a PDF of your piece.
You can also email us a pitch: an idea for a hypothetical, nonexistent essay, column, review, interview, journalistic endeavor, or exposé. If you want to do this, please send your pitch alongside a writing sample.
The deadline is March 1st, but the earlier the better.
